Radford report

The Highlanders already have shown they can go on the road and win, with victories at Penn State and Georgetown this season. They’ve been a force on the offensive backboards, averaging 14.3 per game, which ranks in 31st in the country. In addition to being the leading scorer, Davis leads the team with just under five assists per contest.

Key matchup

Radford ranks No. 19 in the country in 3-point -percentage defense, allowing opponents to connect on only 28 percent of their tries. The Mocs shoot over 40 percent from that range, and a lot of that has been due to the quality of their shots. The Mocs’ 3s account for over 40 percent of their total points, which ranks 21st in the country. If UTC can get good looks and again shoot a good percentage, it could offset Radford’s offensive rebounding proficiency.
