Dollywood will enter its 25th season Saturday with the return of Festival of Nations, a monthlong celebration of music, dance, food and art from around the world.
Highlights include three new shows: “Drum,” featuring 20 dancers, musicians, singers and drummers; the South American rhythms of Jallmay; and Invaders, an ensemble steel orchestra.
Back by popular demand is Le Grand Cirque, with an international cast of acrobats, aerialists, jugglers, clowns and high-wire artists.
Festival of Nations continues through April 26. Also on the park’s festival schedule are Kids Fest, June 11-Aug. 1; National Gospel & Harvest Celebration, Sept. 29-Oct. 30; and Smoky Mountain Christmas, Nov. 6-Jan. 1.
Fans of hometown favorite James Rogers will have to wait another month to see his shows. The entertainer will take the stage April 28-Oct. 30.
