If you struggle to find the perfect gift for the lady in your life, you’re not alone. Even Mel Gibson struggled with “what women want.”
But there is a way to fight the bad-gift blues. Don’t try to figure out what she wants, find out where she shops.
For years, numerous boutiques in town have offered wish list services. The premise is simple: A woman makes a list of items she not only loves, but that actually fit her, at one of her favorite stores. Loved ones shop that list, resting easy that they’ve struck present pay dirt – that is, if they stick to the list.
Terri Holley at Embellish laughs thinking about the men who have gone rogue.
“They’ll say, ‘Well I don’t like any of this,'” she says. “And I’m thinking, it’s not about you this is what she wants! Do yourself a favor; stick to the list.”
