A reception is scheduled Friday, Sept. 1, to open the September exhibit at River Gallery, 400 E. Second St. Visitors can meet featured artists John Geci and Maralyn Wilson between 6:30 and 8 p.m.
Glass artist Geci uses transparent colors and strategically placed stripes to create bowls and vases, retaining the organic character of the molten state.
Wilson brings out her imaginative childhood experiences in mixed-media plexiglass boxes and encaustic wall pieces.
