Avoid worrying by getting it done
Editor’s note: Barry Courter has a 26-year-old son who is a college graduate and a 22-year-old daughter who is a college senior. Each week he poses a question he wishes they would ask.
Q: How do I know when to worry about something and when to let it go?
A: If it is something you know you can’t do anything about, let it go. Worrying about things you have zero control over, or things that might not even happen, is a waste of time. Also, you can avoid worrying about things if you deal with them quickly.
