Georgia football coach Mark Richt announced today that redshirt freshman Aaron Murray will begin preseason camp as the No. 1 quarterback, with redshirt junior Logan Gray as the backup. Richt had promised during spring practice that he would provide a quarterback pecking order in the days after the April 10 G-Day game.
Redshirt freshman Zach Mettenberger had been in the mix but was dismissed from the program last Sunday.
