The Dade Historical Society is printing 100 copies of the “1981 History Book,” which will more than cover the current requests. After printing, the book also will be put online, where it can be read in its entirety and be updated as needed. Hard copies of the book also can be ordered from the Web site.
The AARP trip to the state Capitol has been canceled, so the group’s meeting will be held as usual at 2 p.m. on the first Tuesday of the month – March 2 – in the Dade County Senior Center at 9622 U.S. Highway 11. Kristen Smith with the Dade County Extension Office will discuss weatherization of your home.
