- Recommended adventure: Get involved with local conservation efforts. Tomorrow, July 15, beginning at 6 p.m., TVA is hosting a virtual information session relating to Asian carp. More specifically, it is asking for public opinion on the potential environmental and economic impacts of installing Asian carp barriers along the Tennessee River. The public is also invited to submit comments on the project draft by Aug. 5. Register for tomorrow’s session here. Or, learn more about the invasive species here.
- Most interesting(ly delicious) thing we recently learned: Tennessee blackberries and blueberries are ready for picking. Here’s where to find them.
