Hope on the horizon
Often people will say journalists love to focus on the negative, but I personally would much rather come to work and write happy stories. I finally got an opportunity with this week’s news that COVID-19 vaccines should begin shipping around mid-December. Our work is far from over, but now that there’s an end in sight, it makes doubling down on the safety measures and living this strange pandemic life for awhile longer seem much less daunting.
Here’s to hoping I can start writing many more positive stories and sharing them with you all in the coming months.
