The Chattanooga Community Kitchen will be open on Christmas Day, and Santa Claus will pay a visit at around 10 a.m. to deliver gifts and holiday cheer for those who are hungry, homeless or in need.
A traditional Christmas meal will be served from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. The cold weather shelter will open at 7:30 p.m.
In addition to serving three meals every day, the Chattanooga Community Kitchen works to meet the most urgent needs of homeless and hungry men, women and children in the Chattanooga area while also providing a clear path to self-sufficiency.
