A vintage base ball doubleheader is scheduled for Saturday, May 6, at Tennessee Riverpark on Amnicola Highway.
At noon, the Lightfoot Club of Chattanooga will take on the Emmett Machinists of Knoxville.
At 2:30 p.m., Mountain City of Chattanooga will play the Highland Rim Distillers.
The teams are members of the Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball, which promotes living history by bringing the sport of the 19th century to life. The league also uses the two-word spelling of base ball. Players use the rules, equipment and costumes of the 1860s in their games.
