Good morning, Chattanooga!
At the age of 16, Chattanooga STEM School student Chloie Marshall has already written her first book.
Inspired by a service group she runs with her mom, Marshall penned “Gigi the Giving Grasshopper,” and will soon be traveling to Harlem for a book signing event.
“If a purple dinosaur can teach teachable moments, a green grasshopper can teach teachable moments, too,” her mom, Samaria White said.
Now for some recent stories:
EV HIGHWAY: TVA and other electric utilities across the nation are uniting to build more than 100,000 recharging stations along major highways within the next decade.
NEW SUPERINTENDENT: In case you missed it, Hamilton County Schools finally has a permanent superintendent again.
RAISING AWARENESS: A group of animal and pet advocates in Marion County is planning a demonstration on the courthouse square in Jasper Saturday to raise awareness about laws related to pets, animal cruelty and resources available to pet owners.
