Sequoyah High School has started a fundraiser to help the people of Haiti. Students in Chrissy Cooper’s classes are leading the school-wide project and are asking for community support. All money raised will be donated to the Red Cross/Haiti Fund. On Friday, ” Cooper-ville” senators will be selling pins for $1 that read ” I have a heart. I helped.” It is their goal to sell a pin to each student and faculty member and raise $500. They are asking the community to match their goal. If you or your business, church or organization can donate, send donations to Sequoyah High School, 9517 Ridge Trail Road, Soddy Daisy, TN 37379 – Attention: Chrissy Cooper.
