The Kiwanis Club of East Brainerd is hosting its 72nd annual barbecue Friday and Saturday, July 27-28, serving from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.

The benefit barbecue will be held on the grounds of the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home, 6623 Lee Highway, where a convenient drive-through has been set up so customers don’t even have to leave their cars. But for those who do wish to dine-in, the Kiwanians will have a picnic tent on-site.

A $10 ticket includes a box meal of pork, beef or chicken with sauce, bun, slaw, beans, napkin and plastic utensils. Or, customers may opt for a bulk package of either barbecue pork or beef. Chicken will not be sold in bulk.

Tickets are available on-site at the drive-through entrance. All proceeds benefit the Brainerd Kiwanis Youth Foundation, the fundraising and grant-awarding arm of the club.
