The city of Soddy-Daisy is considering restricting the use of e-cigarettes inside city buildings.
At the City Commission’s June 5 meeting, Mayor Janice Cagle brought up that people have been using e-cigarettes during court.
“It is offensive to some people just like cologne is offensive to some people,” she said of the vapor emitted from e-cigarettes.
Cagle asked City Manager Hardie Stulce to look into writing an ordinance that would prohibit the use of e-cigarettes inside city buildings.
