We have had many thousands of our American troops in all branches of our military services engaged painfully and dangerously for many years of hardship in Afghanistan and in Iraq.
Tough duty continues for many.
But it is very good news every time there is a return to the United States of military servicemen and women who have completed their tours of duty.
The soldiers of the 252nd Army National Guard Military Police Company, many from the Cleveland, Tenn., area, have done honorable and dangerous duty in Iraq – and now have returned to their homes and their families.
We welcome them back with sincere thanks and great pride.
