Chattanooga police are looking for a man wanted on charges of assault and robbery.
Kevin Lamont White, 28, is wanted in connection with an incident in which a 19-year-old man was beaten and robbed, police said.
The victim told police that, about 1:30 a.m. Thursday, he was walking from Camden Street to his mother’s house on Southern Street when two males approached him from behind.
One person, whom the victim identified as White, began punching and kicking him until he fell to the ground. At the same time, the second person began to rifle through the victim’s pockets and stole his cash, police were told.
The suspects fled in a white four-door Ford Taurus, police said.
