It’s Monday. That means groggy eyes and week-long lookaheads. It also means weekend winners and losers.
First, thanks for an awesomely fun mailbag last week. Well-played all-around. Secondly, the Army-Navy game was fun, and everyone involved was a winner. Seriously, and how fun was it to have Verne and Gary do that game and know when they said that one dude may be the President of the United States someday, they were serious. Finally, major props to the Calhoun Yellow Jackets on a state title. That’s a lifetime memory right there fellows. Extremely well-played.
From the “Talks too much” studios, we’re 10 days from Christmas and we’re more Smokey and the Bandit than Frosty, although was has a Snowman prominently involved. We got a long way to go and a short time to get there.

That was an awful first half with a 14-13 lead that became a 41-13 win over Miami to clinch the whole thing.
