A tanning salon operator has been arrested for watching a customer tan without her consent.
Mark Vandal Gilbert, 49, was charged with observation without consent, according to police spokeswoman Rebecca Royval.
According to the arrest report, the victim paid for tanning sessions and received instructions on how to use the equipment from Mr. Gilbert, Officer Royval said.
She then locked the door and began her tanning session. As she was turning over, she observed a man standing in the room, Officer Royval said. She screamed and the suspect ran out of the room.
The victim contacted police and a warrant was taken out for Mr. Gilbert, who was the only person working at the time of the incident.
