Chattanooga’s Southern League baseball series opener Thursday night in Mobile was suspended by rain in the top of the third inning with the Lookouts leading 2-0.
The teams will resume that nine-inning game tonight at 6 EDT, and it will be followed by a seven-inning contest. Byron Buxton put Chattanooga up 1-0 in the third inning on an RBI double to left field and then scored on Miguel Sano’s two-out single.
