President praised, urged to cut tweets

Mr. President, I want to praise you for doing a fantastic job last year and continuing to do so. All that you did you had to do against unbelievable resistance from the Democrats and even members of your own party.

I can’t understand how anyone can criticize your abilities or mental health. You certainly proved yourself in dealing with people in the business world, here at home and with those in foreign countries long before you decided to be president. No one is more qualified to run our country and return it to greatness.

Please do not give up the fight. You are not racist and cannot control the fact the majority of the illegals are coming from countries that are mostly inhabited by people of color. You are only trying to protect me and the rest of the country from illegals who do us harm.

Stop letting your enemies bait you into making these tweets; there is no reason to answer every criticism, especially when they are not true. You are much too smart for that, so please cut back on the tweets and continue to be the great leader that you are.

Some tips for the TFP in 2018

The following are some good tips for the Times Free Press to follow this year:

» Become a resolutely nonpartisan publication.

» Raise difficult issues and questions from all sides.

» Take a practical, evidence-based and unbiased view of things.

» Encourage substantive, meaningful and civil debate in the spirit of public discourse.

So far, you are failing.

Trump: Making U.S. racist again

Donald Trump is once again filling the news cycles with outrageous comments that occupy everyone’s attention with controversy. But Donald has always exhibited blatant racism, and Americans elected him anyway. The obvious lie comes from the Republican Party and Trump supporters who claim they are not racist.

Decent moral behavior is continually rejected by Donald Trump, and Republicans applaud and smile and exclaim what a privilege it is to serve their dear leader.

Trump has made it very clear, in his America, if you are dark-skinned, you are not entitled to the same rights as white people. That’s an easy distraction. It’s more difficult to hide corruption in a true democracy with a free press.

Demonizing specific immigrants is a good start when building a wall to divide citizens. Trying to criminalize media outlets who expose these actions is another brick in that wall.

The world has seen this before. Just ask Vladimir Putin.

For Trump, it’s all about hiding his debt to a corrupt financial institution while protecting his wealth. For Trump supporters, the promise is racism will finally be official policy in the U.S.A.
