Pediatric Diagnostic moves to Lyerly office
Pediatric Diagnostic Associates has moved to the Lyerly Medical Pavilion at 281 N. Lyerly St. in Chattanooga.
The 9-physician practice, which plans to add two more doctors next month, treats infants through young adults up to 21 years of age and is currently accepting new and established patients.
“This new office is on the first floor and very easy to access,” said Glyn Hughes, president of Mountain Management, the physicians division of CHI Memorial Medical Group. “There is also plenty of parking near the main building entrance. Parents and children will enjoy the larger, updated design as well as individual waiting rooms that separate those who are in for a well check from sick children.”
The practice also has a location at 1949 Gunbarrel Road, Suite 285. A new North Georgia office will open in November at 4700 Battlefield Parkway in Ringgold, Ga.
Delta warns of pet scam website
A bogus pet-shipping website that tricks people into thinking they’re dealing with Delta Air Lines is also linked to a scam that preys on people hoping to buy dogs such as Chihuahuas, poodles and corgis, the airline said in a court filing.
Delta, one of the world’s largest airlines, says its wide-ranging investigation into the pet shipping website uncovered a “larger criminal scheme.”
Delta filed a federal lawsuit last month over a website that it says tricks people into thinking they’re dealing with the airline when arranging for their pets to fly on jets.
The airline says the site – DeltaPetTransit.com – is designed to look like a Delta site and uses the airline’s logos and pictures of its planes.

Trump plans to make choice for Fed next week
WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump said Friday he has someone “very specific in mind” to be the next chairman of the Federal Reserve and he will be announcing his choice next week.
“It will be a person who hopefully will do a fantastic job,” Trump said in a video address he tweeted out late Friday. “I think everybody will be very impressed. But most importantly, I think at the end of eight years, you really will be impressed because things are looking good.”
Trump did not give any hints about the person he has selected but Trump is leaning toward Jay Powell, a Fed board member.
