University of Tennessee at Chattanooga guard Jenaya Wade-Fray was named the Southern Conference women’s basketball player of the week Tuesday.
The senior led the Lady Mocs in scoring in road wins at Furman and Wofford, and averaged 17.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game as UTC maintained its spot atop the SoCon standings.
It’s the second time Wade-Fray has been honored by the SoCon this season. Teammate Shanara Hollinquest has been honored three times, including last week.
The Lady Mocs return to action Saturday at McKenzie Arena when they host Elon.
