Shanara Hollinquest hit two free throws to give the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women’s basketball team the lead late and Kayla Christopher’s two free throws sealed a hard-fought 59-56 win over Appalachian State.
The Lady Mocs trailed 50-40 with 11:47 to play before closing the game on a 19-6 run. Christopher and Kylie Lambert had 12 points each to lead UTC.
