Greetings, Chattanooga!
Each year since 2002, we’ve invited students in grades 1-5 to create a wrapping paper design on an 8-by-10 sheet of plain white paper.
Then, we turn the winning entry, as selected by a panel of judges, into a larger newspaper broadsheet, which can be used as gift wrap. We include that one-of-kind design in our Sunday, Dec. 20 edition of the newspaper, along with a story about the young artist.
Well, it’s that time, again! We’re accepting submissions through 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 9! Enter your design here!
And here are a few more recent stories:
Many Chattanooga area shoppers and merchants are expecting a different Black Friday this year. So what will it look like?
Tennesseans are forming new businesses in record numbers during the pandemic.
And, here are some art and music events happening in the area this weekend.
