Hamilton County: Commissioners consider employee pharmacy

The County Commission today discussed a contract with On-Site Rx. Inc. for an employee pharmacy.

The anticipated cost of the contract is $200,000 per year, according to estimates provided by OnSite managing partner Dan Doebler.

The pharmacy, like one now maintained by the city, is estimated to save the county $2.3 million over three years, Mr. Doebler said.

It would be located that would be located in the McDaniel Building, according to County Human Resources Director Rebecca Hunter.

Commissioner John Allen Brooks said he had concerns about approving the contract because he wondered if it would be accessible to county employees after work hours.
