In response to our recap on Riverbend story, Facebook follower Bill Pemerton commented, “Riverbend should look at the Savannah Music Festival, imo. They have a two week long celebration where second and third tier bands play local small venues with headliners at larger rooms. Downtown bars and restaurants, Coolidge Park, Miller Plaza, etc. could be used along with auditoriums to set up an all week long festival with diverse genres without the use of the barge/stage, which is terrible for both the audience and the talent.”
