A holiday sale at River Gallery, 400 E. Second St., will benefit some of the city’s neediest populations.
Through Dec. 24, customers who donate canned goods or money to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen while shopping at the Bluff View Art District gallery will receive an additional 5 percent savings during the 15 percent off holiday sale.
The money and goods raised will be given to the Chattanooga Community Kitchen at the end of the holiday sale, according to Angie Supan. Chattanooga Community Kitchen’s primary goal is to lessen the poverty and despair among the homeless in Chattanooga. Donations will help serve the physical, social and spiritual needs of the homeless and less fortunate.
Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 1-5 p.m. Sundays and by appointment. For more information, call 265-5033, ext. 5 or visit www.river-gallery.com.
