“Herman’s Journey,” the true story of a caterpillar who hitched a ride from Nashville to Chattanooga in 2008, has been captured in a new book.
On Saturday, its authors, Jamina Carder and Kaaren Engel, will be at Rock Point Books to kick off the bookstore’s new Saturday Storytime.
Saturday Storytime will begin at 11 a.m. Along with the reading, there will be music, singing, dancing and drumming.
In addition to Rock Point Books, 401 Broad St., “Herman’s Journey” will be available at Creative Discovery Museum, 321 Broad St.; Greenlife Grocery, 301 Manufacturers Road; ClearSpring Yoga, 17 N. Market St.; and River Gallery, 402 E. Second St. For more information, call 756-2855.
