Before spring wrings out the last vestiges of winter, the Museum Center at Five Points in Cleveland, Tenn., will serve up Brew-ha-ha: Winterfest on Saturday, March 12. The event was originally set for February.
The premise is simple: Beer tastings from local distributors and home brewers, food samples from local restaurants and caterers.
Think of it as a cost-effective way to sample a variety of craft beers, learn how they’re made and connect with other beer lovers.
Same with the food vendors. If you haven’t tried out some of the restaurants, Brew-ha-ha is a chance to nosh on house specialties all in one place.
Supplying the drinks are Chattanooga’s Barley Mob Brewers and Big River Brewing and Cleveland-based Carter Distributing, Ocoee Brewing and Tarver Distributing.
Providing the food are five Cleveland establishments: Bald Headed Bistro, CBC Cleveland, G’Daddy’s BBQ, Santa Fe Cattle Co. and Village Bake Shop.
The fun lasts from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Museum Center, 200 E. Inman St. Tickets are $35 for museum members, $50 for nonmembers. To purchase, visit www.museum center.org/brewhaha. For more information, call 423-339-5745.
