The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is probing the death of a Rhea County man who was reported missing last week.
The body of John Thomas Williams, 45, reported missing last Thursday, was found Sunday in the 40 block of Crawdad Lane in Spring City, Tennessee, according to an emailed statement from TBI spokesman Josh DeVine.
Williams owned the residence where his body was found.
DeVine didn’t say whether there were any suspicious circumstances involved.
“The investigation remains active and ongoing, and agents continue to await autopsy results,” DeVine said.
Crawdad Lane is a rural deadend road near the Bledsoe-Rhea county line off of Shut-In Gap Road.
