A Bradley County man is in custody after his stepson was shot at least twice this evening, Bradley County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Bob Gault said.
After a domestic argument, the 65-year-old suspect allegedly shot his 55-year-old stepson while a female party looked on, Mr. Gault said.
Neither the suspect nor victim has been identified by authorities.
The suspect was taken into custody at Bradley County Jail, while the victim was airlifted to Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga, Mr. Gault said. The victim’s condition was not immediately known.
Mr. Gault said he wasn’t sure if charges had been filed as of late tonight.
