Multiple vehicle crashes on Interstate 24 westbound at mile marker 180 in downtown Chattanooga and mile marker 183 near the Germantown Road exit snarled traffic late this afternoon, according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s Smartway website.
A crash delayed traffic on Interstate 24 eastbound in Chattanooga near the ridge cut, also.
According to the TDOT website the wrecks have been cleared.
