Another angle on Newton to figure
NCAA president Mark Emmert told a group of reporters Tuesday that during the January convention the NCAA could look at implementing new policies in effort to close the loophole created by the NCAA ruling in the Cam Newton case.

Unless you live under a rock on Neptune, you’re aware of the broad brush details involving Newton, the Heisman winner who has led Auburn to a spot in the national title game but was part of allegations and claims that his father Cecil conspired with a former Mississippi State player about a pay-for-play scheme during Cam’s recruitment to Mississippi State.
The NCAA declared Newton eligible to play because it determined that the neither quarterback and Auburn “had anything to do with that,” according to Emmert.
