Current and former residents of Bakewell in North Hamilton County are invited to celebrate 100 years of the Retro-Bakewell Grammar School on Saturday.
Erected in 1910, the facility is still in use as a community center, where the event will be held.
Festivities start at 1 p.m. and include free hot dogs and musical entertainment (bring a chair). Several fundraising activities will be set up to help restore the building.
The Bakewell Community Center is at 114 McCallie Ferry Road, just off Highway 27.
