Things I Wish: Rules change after graduation

Q: Dad, will transitioning from college to a real job be difficult? What should I expect?

A: For you, probably not. For some graduates, likely. No more winter, spring or summer breaks. No more sleeping in when it suits you, and no more wearing the same sweatpants and T-shirt to sleep and to class. What will be expected of you changes greatly and the key is to find out what that is and adjust to it. The workplace will not adjust to you.
