The body of a white male was found around 2 a.m. near the train tracks along the intersection of Boy Scout Rd. and Sandswitch Rd., according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
The victim was discovered by a Norfolk Southern train conductor, the release said.
The person’s identity and cause of death is currently unknown, police said in the release.
The body was taken to the county medical examiner’s office.
