A 14-year-old girl in Dalton recently told police that on Sept. 29 she and some of her friends were studying when she noticed a man at a nearby table “acting creepy.”
The girl told police the man appeared to be taking pictures or videos of her and her friends with his phone. She then noticed the man’s shorts were pulled up, his penis was exposed and he appeared to be pleasuring himself.
The girl told police that she did not draw attention to the man because she didn’t want to alarm her friends, but she did record him with her phone.
One of the girls was able to take a picture of a suspect before he left the restaurant.
The suspect is a heavyset, white man with short, dark hair parted on the left side. The man was wearing eyeglasses, a black polo shirt, a black jacket and shorts.
