Tony’s Pasta Shop and Trattoria in the Bluff View Art District offers some of the most creative Italian cuisine in the city. And yet sometimes customers long for a good burger, said Michael Vasta, the Bluff View’s director of operations.
Now, Tony’s can accommodate that longing with its new Grande Italiano Burger. It starts with perfectly seasoned Italian sausage hand-patted into a patty, which is topped with sautéed garlic spinach, melted provolone cheese and oven-roasted tomato aioli. The burger is served on a warm ciabatta bun made next door at the Bluff View Bakery.

“People were asking for a good burger in the district, so we did it in grand Italian-style like only Tony’s can,” Vasta said. “The fresh ingredients and rich Italian flavors stack up perfectly on the rustic ciabatta bread from our own bakery. It’s no wonder it has become a fast favorite on the menu in no time at all.”
