PIERCE: How Peter Cutt turned his health around

The best part of writing this weight-loss column for the Shape We’re In project has been reader feedback.

I’ve gotten lots of e-mails from people I’ve never met; some offering encouragement, others sharing success stories or advice, and some even scolding me for being too wimpy to walk in the cold weather.

One of the funniest responses came in the week I wrote about avoiding cupcake temptation. That reader wanted to know where to find Chattanooga Cupcakes … evidently I didn’t convince her.

For the last four months, it’s been all about me. For the rest of this month, I want to share your success stories. I hope they’ll inspire other readers who made health resolutions for the new year.

One of the first readers I heard from was Peter Cutt, president of IMACC Corp. He, too, had lived with yo-yoing weight losses and gains until he started walking. He lost 50 pounds and has kept it off three years.
