State Rep. Dewayne Hill, R-Ringgold, will serve as vice chair of the International Trade and Commerce Subcommittee this year.
The position is under the Economic Development and Tourism Committee.
“It is an honor and privilege to serve the citizens of House District 3 in this way,” Hill said in a statement. “This subcommittee will work diligently to consider legislation that will promote business, trade and tourism across all of Georgia.”
State Rep. Ron Stephens, R-Savannah, chair of the Economic Development and Tourism Committee, appointed Hill to the position. Hill has been a state representative since 2017. He previously served as a Catoosa County commissioner.
