Who will watch the watchers?
The deaths of the cops in Dallas were completely predictable. People should not expect anything other than what is beginning to happen. Americans are finally getting tired of law enforcement’s brutal tactics and totalitarian behavior.
The ancients expressed this change in attitude better than I can when they said “Sic Semper Tyrannis” (Thus be it always to tyrants). The police in this country have killed more than 5,000 citizens since 9/11. This matches the number of troops we have lost in Afghanistan and Iraq combined.
Americans are fed up, and thanks to the Second Amendment, they have the arms to do something about the problem. Police are supposed to be the guardians of the people, not their executioners.
Now the other question posed by the ancients has become supremely important. “Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?” (Who will watch the watchers?).
Liberal goons who want to destroy the Second Amendment and who consider anyone who supports it to be insane and violent may want to consider this. Legal gun owners have 200 million guns and 12 trillion rounds of ammunition. Seriously people, if we were a problem, you would know it.

Trump should back Baltic states
Mr. Trump, do not throw Estonia to the mad dog like a dry bone.
Mr. Trump, Estonia is not a dry bone. They are our brothers and sisters.

Reagan mythology full of holes
Another Republican convention means that members of the party have the happy opportunity to “lionize” their all-time hero, precious Ronnie. It also means that some fact checking is in order.
Remember Reagan’s campaign and the deal he made with the Iranians to keep the 401 hostages locked up until after the election? Part of the deal was to keep it a secret so that Reagan could continue to attack Carter for not bringing the hostages home.
Remember the 201 Marines whom Reagan sent to their deaths in the Middle East?
Remember Ronnie’s tax increases and how deeply in debt we went?
Remember how Gorbachev was more than ready to capitulate and how Nancy had to get her husband to talk to Gorbachev?
Remember Reagan’s secret, off-the-books illegal wars in Central America where so-called “freedom fighters” carried out campaigns of terror, death and destruction?
Remember Reagan’s deal to permit drug running to finance our terrorist activities, despite the fact that these drugs were destined to Nancy’s America.
One wonders whether Ronnie gave any thought to our terrorist – as he took a moment to pen one of his love letters to Nancy.
