Chattanooga city workers don’t plan to fight new employee handbook

City of Chattanooga workers don’t plan to fight the administration over the content of a new employee handbook.

But it will keep working on 11 items regarding employees that workers would like to see changed.

Chief Operating Office Brent Goldberg said Tuesday the administration will keep working on those items and come back to the city council in six months to address possible changes.

City workers are set to address the city council on the subject in a few minutes, during the council’s human resources committee meeting.
