Good morning, Chattanooga!
I really can’t believe Thanksgiving is only two weeks away. This year, I plan to drive down to Georgia, pick up my best friend and spend some time at home with my family.
We usually all pitch in and make a dish or two and will likely meet up with extended family and friends to celebrate the holiday. I’ll probably be tasked with the pumpkin bread this year. And maybe if I get the time I’ll make the dressing and some curry.
But, understandably, cooking isn’t everyone’s forte. Some people prefer to leave such a big and taxing meal to the experts, so we’ve compiled our annual list of local businesses that will take the meal off your hands and into your belly for the right price.
Now for some recent stories:
VETERAN SALUTE: This Chattanooga area veteran provided security for Gen. Colin Powell in Somalia.
150 YEARS: The Chattanooga Fire Department is celebrating its sesquicentennial.
WINDING DOWN THE SEARCH: The Hamilton County Board of Education has narrowed down the list of candidates for the next superintendent to four. Here’s a little about each of them.
