The big-screen run of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” at the Tennessee Aquarium’s Imax Theater, 201 Chestnut St., has been extended.
Director J.J. Abrams has said that the 3-D version played on an Imax With Laser screen, which the Imax has, is a “shockingly better” way to see the film.
Additional showtimes are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 15-16; Friday, April 22; Friday and Saturday, April 29-30; and, fittingly, Wednesday, May the 4th.
Tickets are $15.95 for adults, $12.95 for children 3-12, $4 for Imax Club passholders.
The film is rated PG-13 for sci-fi action violence.
