Records and rankings didn’t enter the conversation.

Not before Georgia’s women’s basketball season started and not now, when the Bulldogs are 17-1, ranked No. 8 nationally and preparing for an SEC matchup with No. 3 Tennessee at 7 tonight at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga.

“There’s a lot of things that could be accounted for,” said Georgia senior point guard Ashley Houts, who was a prep standout at Dade County. “Whatever we’ve done, we never said we were going to do that. We said we wanted to change some things.”
