BISCUITS 8, LOOKOUTS 2

Friday’s recap: Miles Mastrobuoni and David Rodriguez homered to highlight a four-run third inning as Montgomery (72-40) bounced back from Thursday’s late-inning collapse to even the series. Chattanooga (49-61) had its three-game winning streak come to an end as the Biscuits stole five bases. Jonathan India’s sacrifice fly to center field and Tyler Stephenson’s line-drive single off the pitcher plated the Lookouts’ runs in the fourth inning. Josh Fleming picked up his 11th win of the season, snd three Biscuits relievers recorded the final nine outs all via strikeout. Montgomery lowered its Southern League-leading team ERA to 3.03. Idanbel Isabel went 2-for-3 for the Lookouts, who struck out a dozen times.

Next up: Game three of a five-game series in Montgomery is Saturday at 7:05 EDT.

Pitchers: Packy Naughton (5-7, 2.99 ERA) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Paul Campbell (6-3, 2.95) scheduled for the Biscuits.
