The Association for Visual Arts 2010 juried members exhibit showcases the work of 13 artists. “Hot Mess” opens Friday with a reception from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
Participation was open to all AVA members and each artist could submit up to three works completed within the past three years.
Annette Cone-Skelton, president and co-founder of the Museum of Contemporary Arts of Georgia, served as the juror. In selecting the pieces to be included, she said she didn’t consider theme, subject matter, medium or style.
