Due to the pandemic, Chattanooga Ballet was forced to cancel all live performances of “The Nutcracker” this year. However, fans will not miss out. Chattanooga Ballet has partnered with WTCI Chattanooga to broadcast a special production of the holiday classic this month. Rather that simply setting up cameras in front of a stage and taping the live show, Chattanooga Ballet Artistic Director Brian McSween conceived an approach that showcases Chattanooga through location shoots at the Lookout Mountain Club, Sculpture Fields, Hunter Museum, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Tivoli Theatre, and more.
