The victim in Chattanooga’s fourth New Year’s Day shooting has been identified as 21-year-old Antonio Edwards.

Edwards told police he was walking near 4000 Grand Avenue when an unknown suspect driving a four-door sedan shot at him.

He suffered a single, non-lifethreatening gunshot wound around 10 p.m. Thursday. Edwards was the fourth person to be wounded or killed by gunfire on New Year’s Day.
